- My name is Tymori Tribble, and I went to Clinton High School and played varsity basketball since the 8th grade. At CHS, I was able to have a successful education. I received A/B honor roll and all A’s through all my years. As a senior, I decided to further my education at Presbyterian College, located in Clinton, South Carolina. I majored in business Marketing and played basketball there for one year but due to a lack of preparation and a complacent mindset. I had to step away from basketball to maintain my grades. At this point in my life, I was at my lowest because I let go of my first love, which was basketball, my grades were slipping, and the result was me not recognizing who I was anymore. However, from having a healthy support system from my parents, trusting God, and connecting back with people who contributed to my past success, I decided to transfer to Limestone college, which is now Limestone University. I decided to move because I didn’t feel like I could grow and develop as an adult by being so close to home. However, by leaving, I saw many opportunities to give back to Clinton and how I could bring up those who relate to my journey.
