Social Dilemma, Social Presence (Updated)

Social Dilemma, Social Presence

The most stunning aspect I found after watching the Netflix film called Social Dilemma is that social media exploits us as people and cultures. Also, the realization of how deep the link between social media and deteriorating mental fitness/health is. This information affected me because I use social media every day for entertainment, faculty work, and research. Still, I was no longer cognizant that the records it presents are manipulative, and data that is shared is accrued and used to form an outline of who humans are. I think this is traumatic and sad because not all humans are conscious of this state of affairs and that some of the troubles and ailments that humans have are due to the regular use of social media. After reviewing the film and talking to my classmates, I will do a better job monitoring and managing my time on social networks that include  Instagram, Youtube, and Snapchat to emerge as much less distracted and more engaged in the fact we exist. In conclusion, I would like to ask whether the internet is a device or a digital shape of manipulation?
